Another Delivery Attempt notice

Toronto Mayor Rob Ford with a driving etiquette tip

5-day old baby found, mom arrested at strip club

A woman was arrested at a strip club Tuesday night after her newborn baby was missing, officials said.

Micah Ashley Alford, 26 was apprehended on a probation violation at Ritz Cabaret, where she was applying for a job, investigators said.

Galveston County Precinct 8 deputy constables said they received information that Alford delivered a baby five days ago, which she ultimately confirmed. Deputies said Alford had a warrant out for her arrest because her probation was revoked. They said she failed a drug test when she was 5 months pregnant.

When deputies asked Alford where her baby was while she was dancing, she refused to tell them, officials said.

Shortly after police put out an alert for the baby, two women called saying they had him.

They told investigators another woman gave them the baby and he had no milk or diapers at that time, but they went and bought those items. The women then agreed to meet officers at the Academy parking lot on Edgebrook and the Gulf Freeway to hand over the infant, who was fine.

Officers had been searching for the newborn for four days.

Records show that this is Alford's fourth child and that the other three were taken away by Child Protective Services.

According to police officers, Alford has prior charges of DWI, child endangerment and child abandonment.

Bulgarian exchange students find hidden cameras in apartment

Deputies were called to a Westchase apartment on Monday after two women living there reported finding cameras hidden in their bathroom, bedrooms and living room.

Deputies discovered the cameras inside smoke detectors and motion sensors for an alarm system.

The women are from Bulgaria and have lived at the apartment on Tuscany Bay Drive for three months. They are visiting the United States as students and planned to stay for a year.

Detectives are looking into whether the cameras were part of an active recording system and whether they were being recorded at a remote location or over the internet.

Since this story broke out I've been searching porn websites to locate videos of these two ladies. But no luck. My imaginations appears to be getting the better of me - girl on girl encounters, nude dish washing, candle lit bubble baths. Must find those videos.

Caring For Your Tattoos

Leave bandage on for at least four hours, overnight if you received the tattoo late before your sleeptime. Make sure you can wash your tattoo when you remove the bandage. Handwash it, no cloths or sponges, using warm water & soap. Use water to soak off any of the bandage that sticks. Do not Rebandage. Wash tattoo at least twice a day while it is healing. Let tattoo dry out for one day, you may wash it to keep it clean during this time, After, start applying skin/hand conditioning lotion or lightly massage A&D ointment into tattoo.

Some people have been known to develop an allergy to Bacitracin, Triple antibiotic and other ointments may contain it. We do not recommend it. Nor do we recommend plain Vaseline. Lotions are safest in warm weather. Keeping it moist will speed the healing process, but your tattoo needs to breathe. Heavy application of petroleum based ointments can suffocate the tattoo and cause a rash. You can wet your tattoo, but don’t soak in the tub or shower for a long time while it is healing.

If you work under very dirty conditions or have to wear tight clothes, you can tape dry papertowel over your tattoo. Try to wear loose clothing around your tattoo. It is normal for your tattoo to flake off tiny pieces of colored skin while it is healing, but you don’t want to force it. So…Do not ever rub or scratch or pick your tattoo! you can smack it if it itches too much.

Wash your tattoo more often if you work near grease, chemicals, dirt, or if you got your tattoo in or near a high-bacteria area such as the armpit, buttocks, or genitals. Do not expose tattoo to chlorine, salt, alcohol or sun for 10 days. Careful with lotions containing excessive alcohol.

Only expose tattoo to long periods of sun after it is fully healed and then with a strong sunscreen applied, so as to protect it from the fading effects of radiation. Tattoos normally take 7-10 days to heal.

Mystery man in jail for weeks, refuses to provide his name

A mystery man believed to be in his 70s who has been locked up in a Utah jail for more than three weeks, refusing to provide his name, was identified Tuesday as a missing New Mexico man, authorities said.

The graying, disheveled man with blue eyes and a scruffy face was booked into the Utah County Jail as "John Doe" on July 1 after being arrested for trespassing in the Provo Police Department parking garage, about 45 miles south of Salt Lake City.

Since then, investigators have been publicizing his mug shot and reaching out to the media and public to figure out who he is. About 100 tips had led nowhere. Authorities even considered the man might have been a missing district attorney from Pennsylvania, but later ruled that out.

Another Pennsylvania prosecutor on Tuesday confirmed that authorities have determined the man is Phillip T. Beavers of New Mexico.

Centre County District Attorney Stacy Parks Miller said in an email to The Associated Press that the man's brother identified him. No other details were immediately available.

Beavers is being held on $1,200 cash bond for three misdemeanor charges of interfering with an investigation, failure to provide information to a police officer and criminal trespass.

He has been practically silent in jail, save for a few brief conversations with Harris and a deputy who have been trying to get him to talk. Authorities ran the man's fingerprints through a state database but came up with nothing.

Happy 18th birthday Taylor Momsen

Now the paparazzi won't be risking arrest for taking photos of you half undressed.

Actress and mom suing each other

This story is priceless. The New York Daily News reports:

Constance Meester claims her famous daughter reneged on an oral agreement to pay her $10,000 a month, cancelled her health insurance and assaulted her in December by “throwing her to the ground and repeatedly hitting her with a bottle.”

The 54-year-old mom says Leighton’s “malicious” treatment has left her “destitute” as she cares for the star’s ailing younger brother.

She alleges in the suit filed Monday that her house fell into foreclosure and she needs $5,000 a month to treat her Hepatitis C.

Constance Meester argues she deserves the millions in cash because she “sacrificed her happiness” to further her daughter’s career, according to the suit.

Leighton Meester, 25, hasn’t addressed the allegations publicly, but (she) filed her own suit Friday in anticipation of the claims.

Her suit alleges she sent $7,500 a month to support her brother Alexander and that her mom used the money for plastic surgery, Botox injections and hair extensions.
So how dysfunctional is this family? Well Leighton was born while her mother was serving a federal prison sentence in Texas. Mom was allowed to stay in a halfway house for the birth, but had to return to prison on the day Leighton turned three months. The future star was raised by a relative while mom served out her sentence for her role in a major drug-running ring.

Can't wait to see how this turns out.

Hotel introduces "snore patrols" and "snore absorption rooms"

Crowne Plaza is trialing the first "snore absorption" rooms at 10 hotels in Europe and the Middle East, whilst six branches in Britain have implemented "snore patrols" this month in a bid to combat noisy sleepers.

"Snore monitors" patrol corridors in the designated quiet zones of Crowne Plaza hotels in the cities of London, Leeds and Manchester. Their job is to listen out for offensive noises and knock on the door of guests who snore too loudly.

"We have quiet zones on two floors of the hotel. As Snore Monitor, I conduct floor walks to check for noise disruptions, paying particular attention to the quiet zone rooms," said Laura Simpson, Snore Monitor at Leeds Crowne Plaza hotel in northern England.

"Guests can ask to stay our quiet zone rooms if they are particularly light sleepers."

However, repeat offenders will be offered an alternative room away from the "quiet zone" for their next stay.

I suspect that many married couple eventually migrate to separate bedrooms, Either one or both spouses snore creating too many sleepless nights. No doubt if the choice is the possibility of sex versus a guaranteed full night sleep, most people go for the sleep.

Pictures taken at the right time

Pictures taken at the right time
33-year-old photographer Scott Linstead creates pictures in which animals and insects as if frozen in time. A former teacher spends about a week in an ambush, setting the flash and tripods.

A beautiful collection of photographs which was taken at the right moment.
In most cases, the rate of reaction of the human eye and the lens is enough to make pictures by hand. Some of these photos were taken in nature, others - on his kitchen table in the warehouse or at a pet store.
"Read this or that animal's behavior - not a problem, difficult to choose the technique and method of how to apply that knowledge. I managed to photograph the phenomenon, occurring every day, and sometimes even rarer. Using special tools and devices is very helpful when the photographer can not be at the right time to take a picture, or whether he simply has no time, because the action is happening too fast. "
Scott, Quebec, Canada. He says that the love of vysokskorostnoy life in the wild requires a lot of patience, but the results are worth it. " "The most offensive is when the picture is perfect for all parts, except one, moreover, some small. For example, the usual onlookers, who decided to ask, what am I doing here, and scare the insect. This is partly why I decided to do some shots in the studio. "
Scott brought Bryzgunov skipjack from Singapore and placed over their aquarium live crickets, small fish that jumped out of the water and spit at their prey. "The main thing - do not just capture the moment" spit ", but do not capture the reflection on the glass aquarium."
"This is behavior I have photographed quite by accident. Normally, these fish are just spitting on the victim, but as they say, if the mountain will not come to Magomed ... The grasshopper had no chance. "
This photo bees in pollen has been done on the kitchen table of Scott. "I took this picture in the room because he wanted complete control of light and insect behavior. Everything was ready in advance. Once the picture was taken, a bee flew quietly to the open window and flew away with a clear conscience. "
Scott lured into his studio jay, scattering all over your favorite treats birds.
This photo is of a basilisk than usual, running on the water, was made on the stock with a high-speed flash.
Pygmy marsupial flying squirrel, special wings which allow it to glide between trees, embodied here in the flight in the studio Scott.
Shots in the fresh air made a more traditional way, using hand-held camera with a high speed shutter. This Great Grey Owl was photographed during a storm in Ontario.
The bat flies over the water in Arizona.
Scott spent four days in an ambush at the edge of the pond in Kangasala, Finland, to make this snapshot of sea hawk. "This place is near the city of Tampere - one of the best places on earth where you can make these shots."
